Did you know that Mohammed Ali would do push ups every day. If he was asked how many have you done- he would say I have no idea, I don't start counting until if feels hard. Victory is in the resistance my friends! When it starts to feel hard, the magic transformation is literally right around the corner! This is what separates the 2% from the other 98%! These people in the 2% THRIVE in the challenge, the adversity, the change and the turbulence! It is the fuel for their FIRE! THEY KNOW whats coming their way by pushing through the hard times! Are you going for what you want, or settling for what you have? Tony Robbins says "Are you emotionally fit? We can only be free and successful if we accept adversity as a catalyst for greatness! Decide that you are 100% responsible for everything in your life!" You ARE the BOSS Applesauce! It's YOUR time to SHINE! Get off the couch, MAKE YOUR LIFE mean something BIG! Dream BIG! LIVE BIG! LOVE BIG! You have to SHOW UP... to GO UP! You have to GET BACK UP when you get knocked down! When it gets hard just keep repeating- Victory is mine...Victory is mine! You can't have the RAINBOW with out the rain people. Weather the storm so you can enjoy the rainbow! Where are you headed today and what's the weather like around you? #changeagent #bethechange
I listened to an amazing conference call this evening. One of them gems from Paul Gravette was "You meet people for a reason. They are a blessing... or a lesson." This really struck me. He encouraged us to think about the people around us. Seriously, think about who we are spending our precious limited time on earth with. I couldn't help but think about how I was showing up in the world too. How am I showing up to my friends and family? Am I pouring into them with a grateful heart or draining them by sharing whining tales of woe? It's important to think about your impact on the world around you and also how much you let other people impact you! Gandhi clearly had it right when he said, "Be the change you want to see!" I am here to spread positive energy, love and light so if you think you see something else from me, take a second and hold a mirror up and make sure its not a reflection of yourself you are seeing. Be joy. Spread joy. Be the blessing, not the lesson!
Do you have people who consistently either pronounce your name incorrectly or spell it wrong- always? If you correct them- they say oh yes, sorry... and do it again. OR maybe you are that person who does it to someone else- all the time? I feel like our name is one thing that is uniquely ours- it's important! It's part of our identity! It helps show the world who we are- the spelling and pronunciation is super important. Because it's right and it's respectful. Let us all make an effort to give people the respect they deserve by using their names correctly, AND spelling them correctly! If we do use it incorrectly and are corrected- make sure we don't forget it again! Let's make an effort do this for one another because we care enough to do it!
We have all heard that. What are you busy with? Just asking.... I have people tell me they are TOO BUSY- for what? More joy, more income more time freedom? WHAT exactly are you too busy for? Ask yourself if the YOU you are today would tell your current self- THIS is the LIFE!! And give directions on how to accomplish it!? If NOT- why not? We get one life to live- idling through life instead of action will only lead us to living with regret- for all that could have been- all we could have become and Why- why didn't we do...blank. Seriously- Dr Phil always says we get ONE life to manage- and its ours- We are influences in many others but we weren't put there to manage it. (like your children). Get out of your own way and start LIVING like your were dying. DO ALL THE THINGS! don't hold back . Quit procrastination and jump ALL IN! Allow your only regret to be... I should have jumped HIGHER or FARTHER! #IAMALLIN
You know my devotions this week I was listening to a podcast. The person talked about joy. Radiating joy and how she was with someone sad and down. She decided this gal needed to laugh. So she made a couple funnies and did some other things and she said the other gal laughed and a whole load lifted off her shoulders- it was almost visible. She said she felt pushed in her spirit to reconnect her friend to joy- And there is was- in the silliness- a reason to connect- laugh, have fun -push worry aside and just be present. She went on to talk about being a light in someones darkness. We all have that capability to be a light in someones darkest times. Be joyful- its contagious like the common cold. Spread that stuff like glitter this weekend- Embrace your joy live it- show it on your face spread it around and share your joy! #attractjoy #bealightinsomeonesdarkness
